Our Mission
To enable the children and young people entrusted to us to reach their full potential within a safe and nurturing environment
Witham Prospect School is an established care and education facility which has been created to meet the needs of children aged between 11 and 19 who have severe and profound learning disabilities and whom may also be on the autism spectrum, have complex care needs and behavioural concerns. The school has places for up to 16 children or young people within the children’s home and educational setting. Within their circle of expertise, the directors of the school can call upon experience in successfully running residential special schools, early years’ education provisions, younger adult residential care homes and homecare services specifically for people with severe and profound disabilities, autism spectrum and other complex care needs.
Witham Prospect School strives to become a model school and children’s home offering care and education to all children and young people who are placed at the school. Alongside the highly-trained care team and the fully qualified teachers will be professionals who can deliver aromatherapy, music therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, equine therapy and psychological input.
