Investing in Brilliance at Witham Prospect School
Our Headteacher recently travelled to London for specialised training in Attention Autism’s ‘Bucket Therapy’ approach!
This training is not just about learning a new technique; it’s a clear demonstration of our belief in continuous professional growth and our commitment to providing the very best support for our children and young people. By having our Headteacher personally undertake this course, we ensure that therapeutic excellence is embedded right from the leadership level down through the whole school.

Why Attention Autism?
The ‘Attention Autism’ programme, often referred to as ‘Bucket Therapy,’ is highly visual, engaging, and structured, making it an incredibly effective tool for developing shared attention, communication, and learning skills in our children and young people with autism and severe learning disabilities. It uses fun, highly motivating activities presented in a structured “bucket” to capture attention and promote spontaneous interaction.
Investing in Our Team
At Witham Prospect School, we firmly believe that investing in our staff is investing in our students. By ensuring our leaders and team members receive expert training like this, we guarantee they are equipped with the most current, effective, and evidence-based therapeutic strategies available.
We are committed to staff training, progression, and learning, helping every member of our team be the best they can be. This commitment ensures that the excellent standards of care and education we provide are continually enhanced, leading directly to better outcomes and more engaging learning opportunities for every child and young person at our school.
Our Headteacher is now back and ready to share the dynamic and engaging world of Bucket Therapy across the school!
