Celebrating the Spectrum: Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2026 ♾️
At Witham Prospect, every week is a celebration of different minds, but Neurodiversity Celebration Week gives us a special opportunity to shout about it! This week is all about changing the narrative from “labels” to “strengths,” focusing on the incredible ways our children and young people perceive and interact with the world.

Reframing the Narrative: Strength in Diversity
Neurodiversity is the idea that neurological differences—like Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia—are natural variations of the human brain. Rather than looking at these as “deficits,” we celebrate them as unique skill sets. By creating environments that cater to neurodivergent needs—using visual schedules, sensory breaks, and alternative communication methods—we aren’t just “supporting” our students; we are empowering them.
Neurodiversity Celebration Week isn’t just a date on the calendar for us; it’s a reflection of our daily mission to provide a “home away from home” where being different isn’t just accepted—it’s celebrated.
